Golf

The word ‘golf’ is derived from the Dutch word "kolf", meaning a better life surrounded by green space, fresh air and elegantly waving the golf clubs in a comfortable shirt.

Golfers today have the advantages of newer and better raw materials used to make the polos, yet still being fashionable. Much of the golf clothing requires wicking function to keep you dry, while filtering air to keep you cool. Another feather of the clothing is wrinkle resistance, so you can look as fresh on the 18th hole as you did on the 1st hole. 

Yoga

From the ancient civilization of India, yoga cultivates the mind and body, unifying both by adjusting the breath and body position.

Choose the clothes that allow you to move freely in all directions. Most people sweat during in yoga, so wearing clothes that are breathable, fit properly and provide wicking is essential. T-shirts, tank tops, sports bras, yoga pants, capris and shorts are perfect for yoga. These garments should be designed with good elasticity for you to move comfortably and worry-free. 

Running

As with any aerobic activities, running becomes more comfortable when you have clothing that keeps you properly ventilated or - in cold and wet conditions - insulated and dry.

Running clothes include pants, tights, shorts, shirts, vests and jackets. The weather outside determines what combination of these items you need to stay comfortable while on your road and trail runs. Your running clothes should have the wicking function to keep you cool and protect you from the sun's rays. When temperature drops, a vest or soft-shelled jacket with insulation is ideal for winter activities. 

 

Leisure

Spending the whole day in sweats used to be a fashion crime, but athleisure is here and now.

Athleisure is a hybrid of workout clothes and loungewear, which make for very versatile pieces that can be worn to the office. Durability, pilling resistance, moisture management, comfort and style help to easily transition from activity to activity. Mix and match them for endless fashionable looks, whether heading out the door or to your sofa. 

Outdoor activities

Hiking, climbing, skiing, and wilderness adventures are challenging outdoor sports.

To help wearers effectively adapt to the severe weather and overcome the complicated natural environment, the inner/base layer needs to focus on moisture-wicking, breathability, warmth, anti-bacterial and anti-odor functions. The outer layers must focus on windproof, waterproof, UV resistance, abrasion and easy clean properties. 

Cycling

Bike riding is one of the most popular activities nowadays. You can enjoy the uphill and downhill of the journey while being close to nature.

Performance wear must be the primary consideration for a comfortable riding experience. These garments should focused on moisture absorption, quick-dry, anti-microbial, high elasticity, and thermal regulation functions. Natural fibers blended into synthetic fabrics will be good choices for cycling athletes. 

Team Sport

Basketball, football, baseball and rugby are just a few popular team sports worldwide.

Different sports types have different requirements. Usually, characteristics such as lightweight, high strength fabrics with good moisture-wicking and anti-microbial finish are must have functions. Polyester based fabrics can effectively avoid the discomforts of sweat compare with cotton based fabrics. Good moisture-absorption and quick dry functions will assist athletes perform better during the games.
