Teflon has superb repel features against water and oil. Teflon® fabric protection technology including the use of fluoride process which forms molecular barrier around each fiber.Molecular barrier reduces the surface tension of the fiber enable the fabric to repel from stains, liquid substances, dust and soil.Providing high durability protection.
Teflon® fabric fends off soil, stains and spills on wool, cotton and blends without impacting the fabric’s weight, look, feel, color or breathability.In addition,Teflon® fabric protector material has passed through dermatological test to confirm its safe on skin contact, and it’s a gentle and non-sensitive formula.
In order to sustain the fabric protection under all various circumstances, DuPont offers three different Teflon® Fabric Protector Formula:
1.Teflon ® water & oil repellent:
After a Teflon ® repellent process, the water and oily dirt will quickly condense into water/oil droplets and separation, to avoid permanent stains. Indoors, Teflon® makes it easier to keep upholstery, draperies, bedding and linens looking fresh and clean. Outdoors, Teflon® provides continuous protection for awnings and patio furniture cushions.
2.Teflon ® HT (High Tech):
Teflon ® HT provides long-term water and oil repellent to the fabric. Experiments showed that after 40 times of washing, the repellent effect is amazingly still very much present. Making it suitable for sportswear and other dirty working environment.
3.Teflon ® SR (Stain Release):
Teflon ® SR protection offers fabric pre-treatment, enable it to wash away the water and oil stains.It does this without affecting the absorbent factors of the fabric, improving the cleaning effect of washing clothes which makes it ideal for infants and young children clothing.Teflon ® Fabric Protector has become synonymous with international quality assurance, and to ensure the upkeep of this quality, any Teflon ® Fabric Protector processed fabrics must pass DuPont’s rigorous tests before they can be issued such tag.
